NEW PRODUCT PHOTO STUDIO
Our new product photography lighting kit with studio tent just arrived, woohoo! We have tested the kit and are very happy with the results. Sample products are well lit and stand out depending on the backdrop used. This particular photo box we tested is 30" X 30" and we will be testing the big 36" X 36" box tonight. The black background was our preferred background but we will post updates as we get more experience with lighting, backgrounds, camera settings and lense choice. The macro lens was hands down our favorit lens.
OUR CUSTOM TOUCHES
We also picked up several different wattage lamps. The lamps that came with the kit are 135 watts and were place pretty close to the tent. The result was a washed out image. So we move the lights further out and found the sweet spot at about 10" away on the sides and on the overhead boom light. If you plan on building your own site or just need to take pictures of your products I highly recommend picking one of these kits up. About $50 bucks shipped and everything is included: Lights, Tripods, Overhead Boom Light, backgrounds and the 30" x 30:" photo box.

2. The Photo Studio Kit is much more portable if you will be shooting on location
3. the homemade non-box photo studio is just so cool and one of my favorites. It can be made any size. Limited only by the backgrounds and cardboard available to you..
